Stronger Together

Momentum is a cross-age mentoring program designed to support, encourage, and empower middle and high school students through consistent, meaningful relationships. We provide a safe, welcoming space where students can be themselves, build friendships, talk about life, and grow — emotionally, socially, and personally.

Whether a student is looking for a place to connect, a space to share openly, or simply a fun evening with friends, Momentum is here for them.

Who Can Join?

Momentum is open to anyone in 6th grade or above, regardless of school district, background, or belief system. While we’re based in the Cocalico School District, our doors (and hearts) are open wide.

Rooted in Values

Though not overtly faith-based, Momentum is deeply shaped by the faith-driven values of the organization and leaders behind it — things like integrity, compassion, respect, and hope. We believe that when young people are surrounded by people who care, they thrive.

Our motto, “Stronger Together,” reflects our belief that no student should face life’s challenges alone. Momentum is about building a community where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued.

Each Momentum night is designed to balance fun, conversation, and connection:

  Icebreakers, team challenges, and all-around fun to help students unwind and engage.

  Meaningful, age-appropriate conversations on topics like identity, friendship, mental health, and more.

• 🤝 Peer Community
  A chance to connect with others who get it — and who are walking through the same things.

• 🧭 Supportive Mentors
  Caring adult leaders who show up consistently and lead with compassion, respect, and hope.
