It has been 18 months in the making, but we have finally been able to come to an agreement with First National Bank for the purchase of the Denver House property! Partnering with LHOP (Lancaster Housing Opportunity Partnership), REAL Life Community Services will be in the driver’s seat to set forth their vision to renovate the building to provide affordable apartments and offer a community service “Hub”. And, Welsh Mountain Health Centers will offer medical, dental services, and behavior health counseling!
This could not have been done without the tenacious work of LHOP’s CEO, Ray D’Agostino, and his team! We know the work isn’t done yet! We have just raised $100,000 to acquire the property! Now, we need raise almost $3.5 million to renovate the building and excavate the grounds to install 40+ parking spaces. With your help, and that of many construction volunteers, we know we can make this dream a reality in no time!
