Back to School Backpacks Program
What is Back to School Backpacks?
For the past 5 years we have been able to help the students in our community through our Back to School Backpack Program by offering them a ready for school backpack. During National Night Out, REAL Life offers backpacks to the elementary school students, middle school students and also high school students of the Cocalico School District. We communicate with the school to find out what supplies the students need to have for the upcoming school year. We put backpacks together so the parents are not burdened with the costs for a backpack and all the supplies needed.
Who qualifies?
Our Back to School Backpack program is open to every Cocalico School District student present at National Night Out. We have 100 backpacks ready to give out and it is first come first served. THE STUDENT MUST BE PRESENT, we can not give out backpacks unless your child is present to pick up a backpack.
How to get involved?
We always hope to get help from our community and partner with businesses that are interested in helping our students. We hope to grow this program but we need your help. You can help by purchasing the supplies needed from our Walmart shopping list (and have them delivered to our office), or donate money on our website so we can purchase the supplies needed.
