How you can get involved

Warehouse 916 Food Programs

Power Packs Project: We are the Cocalico Affiliate of the Power Packs Projects, which is open during the school year. Volunteers will be needed once every week during the school year to help pack food and distribute to our Power Pack families.

Cocalico Food Pantry: Our Cocalico Food Pantry is open twice a month by appointment. We will need volunteers to provide shopping support, answering questions, and to bag groceries.

First Friday Food Drive: The First Friday Food Drive happens once a month. We need volunteers to receive non-perishable food items and personal toiletries donated from our generous community.

Adult Advocacy

Rapid Response Team: Are you handy and skillful? Then we need you to become a volunteer on our Rapid Response Team. We need volunteers that can be on the ready in an emergency..

Glory House: Providing resources to the family in our transitional housing program. Volunteers are needed to help with food, moving furniture, and other giftings to help our transitional moms overcome everyday obstacles and to thrive in life.

Provide Transportation:  Providing transportation for families and individuals, to/from appointments.

Momentum Youth Program

Become a mentor: We understand the struggles of youth. There are so many needs yet so few adults to help. If you have the gift of teaching or have a heart for youth, please consider being a volunteer mentor.

Extra Opportunities:

Yard Work: As the seasons change, we have opportunities to clean up around our buildings. We also have opportunities to do yard work for families we are working with.

Construction Cleanup: There are times that we need volunteers to help with either construction work or cleaning up after construction.

Community Garden: During the harvest season, we need volunteers to help us gather fruits and vegetables from a local farm. The fresh produce will be offered to families in our various food distribution programs.

Events: Would you please consider volunteering to assist with our events? Volunteers can assist with setting up, serving, or tearing down afterwards.
