How you can get involved

 

Warehouse 916 Food Program

Power Pack Food Distribution: Our Power Pack Food Distribution is open during the school year. Volunteers will be needed once every week during the school year to help pack food and distribute to our Power Pack families.

Cocalico Food Pantry: Our Cocalico Food Pantry is open twice a month by appointment. We will need volunteers to provide shopping support, answering questions, and to bag groceries.

First Friday Food Drive: First Friday Food Drive happens once a month. We need volunteers to receive non-perishable food items and personal toiletries donated from our generous community.




Adult Advocacy

Rapid Response Team: Are you handy and skillful? Then we need you to become a volunteer in our Rapid Response Team. We need volunteers that can be on the ready when an emergency appears.

Glory House: Providing resources of help to our families in our transitional housing program. Volunteers are needed to help with food, moving of furniture items, and their knowledge to help our transitional moms overcome and thrive in life again.

Provide Transportation:  Providing transportation for families and individuals, to/from appointments.


Momentum Youth Program

Become a mentor: We understand the struggles among youth. There are so much needs to fulfill. If you have a gift of teaching or have a heart for the youth. Please consider being a volunteer mentor.




Extra Opportunities:

Yard Work: As seasons change, we have opportunities to clean around our facilities. There will be times we have opportunities to do yard work for families in our program.

Construction Cleanup: As needs comes up, we always have duty to fulfill that need. There will be times we need volunteers to help with either construction work or cleaning up after construction.

Community Garden: During the harvest season, we need volunteers to help us gather fruits and vegetables from our local farmer. These fresh produces will be provided and offer to the families in our program.

Events: Events is a great way to let our community know we are a resource of support. Would you please consider volunteering for events to help us do that effectively? Volunteers can assist with setting up, providing services, or tearing down after events.
