Momentum is a sub-group of Aevidum (High School Club) designed to allow students to come together to find creative ways to address (some, if not all) 23 difficult issues teens are dealing with. Students will meet together to discuss ways to bring awareness to these issues at school and church youth groups.
There is a group of students that have a lot of passion to reach out to their fellow classmates who are hurting. These students need a way to be encouraged, equipped, and empowered to make a difference in their school and church. Also, for the most part, the church has turned a blind eye and doesn’t want to recognize the issues causing depression and suicide. Momentum will be that vehicle to equip and empower young people to speak out about issues that are directly affecting their lives.
Reaching peers for Christ by addressing tough issues at school.
Equipping the church to become more relevant by bringing awareness to tough issues teens are going through.
Going to the nations to spread the hope of Jesus Christ through the Momentum Program.
