Early Learning Mentor
Parents as Teachers (PAT) Program
The Parent as Teachers Program offers a variety of services to teach effective parenting skills, provide early intervention, and connect families with community resources. Early Learning Mentor is one of the programs that Parent as Teachers Program offers.
The program is an evidence-based home visiting model that promotes the optimal early learning and health of children by supporting and engaging parents and caregivers. Our Early Learning Mentor provides services to families with children from prenatal through kindergarten entry. Families receive personal home visits, child screenings, group connections, parenting workshops, and referrals to community resources. We are excited to partner with Community Action Partnership and the Cocalico School District to provide our area with this service.
The program offers a number of services, such as:
- Personal home visits
- Child screenings
- Group connections
- Parent workshops
- Referrals to community resources
