Youth Development Momentum Program
Momentum guarantees a young person that there is someone who cares about them. A child needs to know that they are not alone in dealing with the day-to-day challenges of life.
Think back on your life. Did you know how to change a tire or make college plans? Do you remember wanting your first car or looking for a job? Simple things that seem easy to you may not be to a young person.
Momentum is every Tuesday from 6:30 pm to 8 pm during the school year. Students will meet at the Lighthouse Community Center at 239 Main Street, Denver PA 17517.
Individual Mentoring
Through our Momentum team, a group of trained young adults, we connect with school students in the Cocalico School District. Each Tuesday night we will have small and fun lectures about various subjects, as group games, to help students connect with themselves and others.
All young adults interested in becoming a Lead Mentor must fill out the volunteer application to apply.
